Day 28- Things I am grateful for

A day late but day 28 is all about things I’m grateful for. Some people would ask what does someone with a chronic illness have to be grateful for but I am grateful for many things. Family, friends, being able to work, my cats, having a of over my head and food on the table, people reading my blog or following me on Twitter and even the fact that my illness doesn’t make me bed bound or isn’t life threatening! 

There is always something to be grateful for, focus on the small things. Some mornings it is purely the fact I have made it out of bed and into work or that the sun is shining.

    If there’s one thing fibromyalgia has taught me, it is to be grateful for the tiniest of things! One of the biggest things I am grateful for is the ability to still work towards my Ph.D., despite the lesser time commitment that I am forced to make towards it.
