Day 1 – introduction

Today is day one of mine and my sister’s blog challenge and I am going to start with a recent picture of me and tell you why I have decided to do this challenge.

This is a photo of me and my youngest sister taken recently at my goddaughter’s christening. This was taken on a good fibro day where I wasn’t in much pain and had been able to wash, blow dry and can you believe it, straighten my hair!! My little sister is a fighter and inspires me everyday, but I will write more about that in the future.

So now you know what I look like!

I decided to create a 30 day blog challenge as Charlotte, one of my other sisters, was struggling to find a topic to write about and I suggested she do a challenge and she challenged me back. We couldn’t find one we liked all the ideas for so we created our own. The idea is that we only blog about the topics given for each day and must post every day. I will be discussing my fibromyalgia and PCOS within the posts when relevant so you can still track how I am getting on. I wanted to do the challenge to try and develop a habit of posting as when I started my blog in January I posted regularly for a few weeks and then slowly left my blog as I became busy at work. As the summer holiday is approaching I want to get into a routine before the new school year starts, so that I can continue writing even when busy at work.

I also thought it would be a good way for you guys to get to know me and find out about what my life is like beyond my chronic illness. I wasn’t actually going to post today as I had a rough night and my fibromyalgia is flaring, but I knew if I didn’t post today I wouldn’t start the challenge and I can’t let Charlotte down. So I am writing this lay in bed, watching Netflix and relaxing and will soon be snuggling down to catch up on my lost sleep form last night.

Please feel free to join us in our challenge and tweet me your post @fibro_ANB

Gentle hugs

Hannah ?
